Please Enjoy the View

We are thankful to be surrounded by the beauty of nature. It's a rainy overcast, but pleasantly warm week here. We are having lows in the 40's and 50's, with high's in the 50's and 60's. Lot's of drizzle, mist and fog, with a little rain here and there. The kind of weather that makes you want to curl up and read a good book. So we have at times, in between butchering chickens, laughing at the kittens playing and just enjoying life. So, without further ado, please enjoy the view.

We hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Thank you for taking the tour.

Until next time - Fern

    1. Our Great Pyrenees is great with the goats, chickens and cats, M.E. She is a wonderful addition to our homestead. She is a big baby with us, but doesn't like strangers unless we are around. Then she is curious about other people, but we don't let her socialize with anyone but us. Thank you for sharing.

  2. You still have leaves! Our neck of the woods is naked now but still has such a beauty. I really loved your view through the triangle of the foggy scenery. We've had three days now of rain and it was a wonderful time to catch up indoors. Even quilted quite a bit. Your kittens are cute little fluff bundles. We have three kitties, each one with a different personality, and they keep us laughing! You might even say...they have "human" nature! ha!

    1. Some of these pictures are a little old, Lorraine. We don't have many leaves left now, and the ones that are left are brown. But, I have to admit, regardless of what time of year it is, I do think we live in a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing.

  3. Just absolutely lovely scenery! The picture of the first gray kitten looks like my cat, Shadow, when she was a kitten. Thanks for the tour!
