Thanks for sharing your "Spring" with us! Gives me hope that this snow will eventually go away :)
ReplyDeleteDon't give up, Sandra. Spring will come, with a sigh of relief.

Hi Fern! The photos are great! I love watching Spring arrive through the eyes of others! I have no buds on my cherry trees yet. I hope mine are just late, since they are in a little bit of shade. Thanks for sharing your beautiful sights with us! Blessings from Bama!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Felicia. I will share more as 'spring' develops.

So great to see spring somewhere. Lady Bug is adorable! Sure can't hardly wait for my own daffodils.
ReplyDeleteGranny, it seems that the daffodils arrived overnight. And, yes, the baby goats are such great fun to watch. Thanks for coming by and leaving us a comment.

Fern, I am new to your blog and already love it! You are somewhat farther along on Spring than we are here in Mid-Mo. I have never started peas indoors. Do you think that it is a plus to start them inside? What do you do about the seedlings getting so leggy?? I start broccoli indoors and always contend with stringy looking seedlings.
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Lorraine, I'm glad you found us.
DeleteMost people, actually I don't know anyone, that starts seedlings the way I do. I do think it's a plus to start them indoors. They get a head start before I harden them off and put them in the ground. Some of them do get a little leggy, but so far it hasn't seemed to affect their growth or harvest unless I wait too long. Then they may be a little slow or stunted at first before they take off. Sometimes the weather just doesn't cooperate and I can't get them planted when I would like. I need to get some of these planted today before the rains come this weekend.
Thank you for the question.
Fern
Such adorable babies!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathi. Some of them remind me of your kids that were born a few month ago. Aren't they a hoot to watch?

My garden is still buried under about 2 feet of snow, and it's about 10 here, with zero called for tonight! I'm holding out for spring, so it's good to know it's happening someplace! :D
ReplyDeleteWell, Darlene, this is one of those cases that I am glad I don't live where you are. Spring will surely get there sometime, but we may be having summer by then. Stay warm.
