The World Is An Amazing Place

We are all blessed with amazing wonders all around us everyday. Even in the midst of stress and strife, frustration and illness we are surrounded with the amazing wonders of the world. We just have to take the time to see what is before us, breathe it in deeply, and enjoy. So, take a short minute to look, relax and appreciate the blessings of God.

Until next time - Fern

  2. Ralph and I were just mentioning how wonderful this world is..as we put our newly grafted apple trees in their pails before weeding the garden. The birds filled the air with sound and it was just such a completely simple and marvelous time! Thank you for your beautiful photo essay!

  3. Again my friend ... You speak the truth. God has given us infinite joys if we chose to simply see what he's given us ....
PS. (side note) I wish he'd see fit to help me get a kobota tractor ?.... It would be helpful .... Hahaha

May God bless us all .....

  5. Thanks Fern. I was just outside on my morning rounds and enjoying very similar things in my (OK/AR border) yard and garden. Here the cherry tree buds are finally out. Our average last frost is April 10th. The forysthia, daffodils, peach trees, redbuds, and some of my crocuses are finally flowering out. The apple trees are finally leafing out as well. I too have the tiny blue flowers in the back yard. I was thinking the exact same thoughts as you as breathing in all the GLORIOUS floral and woodsy smells this morning on my stroll thru the troops (my garden buddies) this rainy a.m. to feed the birds and check on the birdbaths for mosquito larva. It is good to be alive and smell the wondrous scents of God's creation! Now if I could just keep the birds off my blueberries and the squirrels away from my potato plants (????)!!! I can't recall if it was you or someone else who said their granddad or dad (gardener) said the best gardening tool was your shadow as you keep looking/watching over all that you've got planted. Happy 2014 gardening season Frank and Fern!!! And may God bless you richly for all the help and warnings you have given to folks. You are much appreciated! ~Sas
