Rare Hoar Frost Beauty
We seldom get to see the beauty of hoar frost in this part of the country. It wasn't unusual to see it when we were in Alaska, but here it is a rarity. This morning we awoke to a still, cold, foggy morning. As I walked down from the barn in the faint light of dawn, I was blessed with a beautiful sight. We wanted to share it with you. So Frank went out and took lots of pictures. Please enjoy the view.
Take a little time and enjoy some of the little things in life. We are surrounded with them everyday.
Oh Fern! Thank you again. You and Frank have made my day. If I mention the words "hoar frost" around here, WA state, most people erupt in giggles then ask what I mean. *sigh* You both really are such a blessing.

I have only seen that twice in my life (both in Wisconsin), but never knew what it was called. It is so pretty! Thank you for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSimply Beautiful! The grace and elegance of Hoarfrost always makes me think the name doesn't suit it..it should be called something artistic!
